The Saturday Seedlings kids wrote this guide themselves, with a little editing from Tom.

1. Find a cup and poke a hole in the bottom.
2. Fill it with soil, but don't pack it tight.
3. Push two seeds in, about as deep as your fingernail.
4. Water until the soil feels like a wrung-out sponge.
5. Put it in a sunny window and check it every morning.

Be patient. Seeds don't care that you're excited.
